Experienced Coach Driver – Truro
£15.50 per hour
Join First Bus and FlixBus as we expand our coach services from Truro. We’re looking for skilled and experienced PCV Drivers who enjoy being out on the road, driving modern vehicles and delivering safe, reliable and comfortable journeys for passengers across the UK. If you’re looking for a change from traditional local bus driving, this is a great opportunity to enjoy longer-distance routes, a variety of destinations and a more relaxed driving experience, while still having the security and benefits of working for an established operator.
What’s in it for you?
You’ll earn £15.50 per hour, over £30,000 a year, on a permanent 39-hour contract, with the opportunity to drive modern, comfortable coaches on a range of long-distance routes across the UK. This role offers a more enjoyable pace of driving, with open-road journeys, varied destinations and scenic routes, providing a welcome change from the demands of busy urban service work. You’ll also join a supportive local team while being part of a growing national coach operation with genuine long-term career opportunities.
The Role
As a Coach Driver, you’ll be responsible for providing safe, reliable and comfortable journeys for customers travelling across the UK. You’ll drive modern coaches across a variety of routes, from busy towns and cities to scenic rural locations, ensuring every passenger receives a professional and friendly service. With a structured rota and plenty of variety, no two days are the same. You’ll enjoy longer-distance driving, different destinations and the opportunity to experience more of the UK from behind the wheel.
What we need from you:
- Hold a valid PCV licence
- Proof of your Right to Work in the UK
- You must be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Flexibility to work on a rota / shift basis.
- Great people skills
