Hints and Tips

Before you apply, it’s a good idea to find out more about First Bus and what we do in your local area and also to prepare for competency and technical based questions around your current role and what you could bring to First Bus. Please also remember that interviews are two way as working with us must be a right fit for you too.

For a Bus Driver position, your assessment will include a medical check, interview and driving assessment. For any other role you’ll have a competency based interview, but specific assessments may be used. If there is anything you need to prepare beforehand we will let you know.

Our depots are busy and tend to have a lot of vehicle movement, so we don’t offer on site parking.
