The first thing you’ll think of is Drivers, and of course they are the first point of contact for many with First Bus. Adaptable, friendly, and knowledgeable, they are the face of First Bus. They wouldn’t be on the road without the dedication, flexibility, technical expertise and support of our Engineering teams who are crucial to keeping our fleet operating while transferring skills to the electric buses of tomorrow – we’re going zero emission by 2035. In turn we have a fantastic team of Forward Allocators, Operations Managers and Supervisors who run the network – some of them were drivers before their promotion, so they know our business and what it takes to keep our services in tip top shape.
Nothing would be possible without our brilliant Enabling Functions teams. From Customer Service through to People, Technology, Procurement, Finance, Marketing, Purchasing, and many more, they enable our Operational colleagues to function at peak efficiency.
