Trainee Bus Driver – Swansea

£14.07 per hour

No previous bus driving experience is needed, if you have a full UK driving licence, enjoy meeting people and take pride in providing great customer service, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to become a qualified driver.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll start on £14.07 per hour, increasing to £14.50 once qualified after 12 months. This is a full-time, permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours and rotas planned in advance, giving you stability and flexibility around your working week. You’ll work a variety of morning, evening and weekend shifts, with weekday time off built into your rota, plus opportunities for overtime to increase your earnings where available.

The Role

You’ll operate local bus services across Swansea and the surrounding areas, helping people get to work, education, appointments, shopping and days out. As a customer-facing role, you’ll be at the heart of the communities you serve, with safety, professionalism and reliability at the centre of everything you do. You’ll play an important role in keeping people across South Wales connected, while providing a safe, comfortable and reliable journey every day.

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• Minimum age of 18
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible approach to shift work

No PCV licence is required, full training is provided.
