Are you an experienced Facilities Manager with a passion for driving operational excellence? We're looking for a proactive leader to oversee facilities management across multiple sites, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient environments that support our business operations.

This varied role combines strategic planning, performance management, budget control and extensive plant maintenance responsibilities. You'll take the lead on statutory compliance, contractor management, audits, inspections and emergency preparedness, playing a critical role in maintaining operational continuity and high service standards across all sites.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Drive strategy and business plans implementation
  • Ensure high performance, meet FM KPIs and spearhead business improvements
  • Manage budgets, resources and supplier relations for maximum value
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and oversee hard services delivery
  • Support and guide FM coordinators while ensuring business continuity
  • Scheduling and coordinating plant equipment maintenance
  • Managing breakdowns and supporting garage/production teams
  • Overseeing specialist mechanical and electrical contractors
  • Supporting EV project delivery and on-site progress

 

What we're looking for

  • An industry recognised building services electrical or mechanical engineering qualification within the built environment (Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent vocational qualification) or technical building surveying qualification
  • Health and Safety training i.e. NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, CITB SMSTS or CSCS or equivalent
  • Membership status of relevant FM related organisation (IWFM, CIBSE, RICS, etc.)
  • Proven experience in facilities management, including planned maintenance and asset management
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications in building services or engineering, with health and safety certifications
  • Expertise in statutory legislation, asset databases and CAFM systems
  • Experience of managing planned preventative maintenance for hard services within commercial premises/asset portfolios
  • Experience of electrical HV & LV installations including full maintenance requirements and appropriateness of electrical AP services from external suppliers/partners
