Experienced Bus Driver – Blantyre

£16.03 per hour

£1,500 bonus (£500 paid after 6 months service and remaining £1,000 paid after 1 year service – pro-rata for part time) T&C's apply

Already a PCV qualified Driver? We're looking for drivers to join our team in Blantyre. If you're already a qualified PCV driver and want a stable role with a friendly depot, this could be a great fit. You'll be driving nearby bus routes, helping passengers get where they need to be securely and on time.

What's in it for you?
You'll earn £16.03 per hour, with the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime when it's offered. This is a full time, permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours, and your shifts will be organised ahead so you know what your working week looks like ahead of time. You'll work a varied shift pattern covering mornings, evenings, and weekends, but everything is scheduled to give you as much certainty as possible.

The role
As one of our Bus Drivers, you'll safely run local bus services, helping people travel to work, school, appointments, and home every day. You'll ensure every journey is safe, reliable, comfortable, and on time while delivering outstanding customer service to every passenger. You'll be representing First Bus within your local community and playing an important role in keeping people connected. This is a fulfilling role where professionalism, safety, and a positive attitude make a real difference to the communities you serve.

Shifts are rota-based over 5 days and include early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with schedules provided in advance.

What we're looking for:

• Valid PCV licence
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• Strong customer service skills
• Flexible and reliable approach to shift work
