What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our team, you'll:

• Supervise and support our workshop staff during your shift
• Ensure all vehicles meet Company, TfL and VOSA standards
• Make sure enough clean, reliable vehicles are ready for service
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, minimising lost mileage
• Oversee repairs, inspections and documentation such as MOT and rota planners
• Liaise with service controllers, stores and suppliers to keep everything running smoothly
• Monitor quality, cost-effectiveness and timeliness of engineering work
• Champion Health & Safety in the workplace

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Qualified Engineer (Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven supervisory experience – able to lead, motivate and coach
• Previous bus industry experience
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Solid knowledge of health & safety standards
• Organised, methodical and calm under pressure
• Flexible, self-motivated and a strong team player
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Agresso and Maximo experience
• PCV licence
