Location - Manchester, Leeds or Glasgow

Are you passionate about connecting people with the right opportunities? At First Bus, we're on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Partner to help us attract, engage, and hire top talent across our business.

You'll be a trusted partner to our operational leaders, working closely with the Senior TA Partner to deliver a seamless recruitment experience from start to finish. A large part of this role will involve high-volume recruitment of bus drivers, so you'll need to be confident managing fast-paced campaigns while still delivering an excellent candidate experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from role briefing through to offer stage.
  • Lead high-volume driver recruitment campaigns across your business area.
  • Use creative sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking) to engage great candidates.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for key roles.
  • Provide market insights and recruitment expertise to support effective decision-making.
  • Deputise for the Senior TA Partner and act as a key contact across the business when needed.
  • Promote First Bus as an employer of choice through every interaction.
  • Keep accurate records in the ATS and report on progress regularly.

What we're looking for

  • Proven recruitment experience (in-house or agency), managing end-to-end processes.
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment, ideally within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — confident working with operational leaders.
  • Excellent sourcing and pipeline-building ability.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to advise and influence.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive candidate experience.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions.
