Are you an organised, detail-oriented team player who loves working in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Recruitment & Administrator to join our friendly team at Fulwell Garage, providing vital administrative support to ensure our recruitment and training operations run smoothly.

 

What You'll Do

As the central point of contact for our Recruitment Team, you'll make sure every candidate enjoys a seamless and professional experience from application to onboarding. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Acting as the gatekeeper for Right to Work checks and GDPR compliance
  • Managing reference requests, DBS applications (through a third party), and resolving queries
  • Being the first point of contact for candidate queries via phone, email, and in person
  • Arranging medical appointments with candidates and doctors
  • Preparing offer letters, contracts, and new starter payroll lists
  • Inputting accurate personal and onboarding data into our people systems
  • Assisting with recruitment events, open days, and assessment centres
  • Producing recruitment reports on costs and timescales
  • Ensuring all materials meet company branding standards
  • Managing office supplies and supporting daily admin needs

You'll also provide cover and support for the Training Administrator, helping to:

  • Coordinate training logistics for drivers and instructors
  • Upload CPC courses and maintain training records
  • Schedule training programmes (CPC, City & Guilds, and more)
  • Liaise with engineering and other teams to handle any operational issues

  • Proven experience in recruitment or HR administration
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to changing priorities
  • Confidence using databases, systems, and recruitment software
  • A solid understanding of employment law and data protection
  • Absolute confidentiality when handling sensitive information
