About the Role - PSV/HGV Technician (Nightshift)

Do you want to be part of our energetic team of mechanical engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses? If yes, then this Skilled Technician position could just be the job for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement

• Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used

• Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair

• To fully comply with all HSE legislation along with Group Policies

• To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures

• Maintain and develop technical skills as required

Details:

• Location: Bristol - Lawrence Hill, Easton Road, BS5 0DZ

• Working Hours: 38 hours per week - 4 on 3 off - Tuesday-Friday 19:00-04:36 Saturday-Monday rest days

• Pay Rate: £21.37 per hour + 20 days A/L and paid meal breaks +£3,000 new recruit Joining Bonus!!!*

About You:

• Do you have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification in vehicle mechanics?

• Do you have a valid UK driver's licence?

• A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this)

• Experience of working with buses & coaches would be an advantage, but any vehicle mechanic experience will be considered (HGV)

• Do you have Right to Work in the UK?
