About the role

You'll be responsible for delivering accurate weekly and monthly payrolls, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and acting as a trusted point of contact for payroll-related queries. 

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payroll accurately 
• Administer new starters, leavers, contractual changes and pay progression updates
• Manage statutory and contractual payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, ShPP, etc.)
• Apply payroll deductions in line with company agreements and legislation
• Complete payroll checks, test runs and final processing
• Prepare BACS documentation and payroll reports
• Handle payroll queries professionally and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with HR, Operations and Finance teams

About you

• Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Confident communicator at all levels
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Committed to confidentiality and excellent customer service
• End-to-end payroll processing experience is desirable, but not essential 

Occasional flexibility around payroll deadlines will be required.
