As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in modernising business processes, automating workflows, and shaping the data-driven future of our organisation.
What You'll Do:
You'll help design and deliver the data foundations that power our digital strategy — from building secure cloud pipelines to experimenting with AI and machine learning.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Designing, building, and maintaining secure data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across systems, APIs, and IoT devices.
Developing and supporting data warehouses, data lakes, and catalogues using tools like Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Azure.
Automating workflows with RPA and n8n, and supporting real-time analytics using MQTT and streaming data.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams — from Finance to Operations — to turn data into actionable insights.
Supporting the development of Qlik BI dashboards, AI-driven automations, and predictive analytics proof-of-concepts.
You'll Get To Work With:
Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake
Tools: dbt, Airbyte, Qlik, RPA, n8n, MQTT
AI & ML technologies: Azure AI Foundry, Copilot, SageMaker, RAG frameworks
Essential Skills:
Genuine interest in data engineering, analytics, and cloud tech
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Skills:
Basic knowledge of SQL or Python
Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP
Understanding of data governance or visualisation tools
