We're looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our London HR team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a brilliant opportunity to make an impact in a large, fast-moving, and people-focused business.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same! You'll be at the heart of our people operations, supporting managers and employees across multiple depots.

Act as a trusted HR partner — advising on everything from employee relations and absence management to performance and conduct.

Lead or support investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances, ensuring fairness and compliance every step of the way.

Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and best practice.

Support the full employee lifecycle — onboarding, development, and exits — keeping our processes consistent and engaging.

Help shape our culture by driving HR initiatives that improve engagement and operational excellence.

Build great relationships with our managers, colleagues, and union partners to deliver real business results.
What we're looking for
We're after someone who's confident, credible, and thrives in a busy environment. You'll need to bring:

Previous experience as an HR Advisor or similar in a unionised or operational setting.

A solid grasp of UK employment law and HR processes.

CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it) — Level 5 would be even better!

A can-do attitude with great communication and problem-solving skills.

The ability to juggle priorities, stay organised, and deliver under pressure.

Willingness to travel between London depots when needed.
