Depot Administrator

We are looking for a Depot Administrator to join our team in Blantyre on a part-time, permanent basis. We are ideally looking for the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week.

As a Depot Administrator, you will be working in a busy depot, building rapport with your fellow colleagues and helping to support the smooth running of the depot's day to day, operational and engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering & Operations:

  • Update vehicle and engineering records using SAP and other systems
  • Maintain compliance with legal and company standards
  • Track maintenance, MOTs, defects, fuel usage, and licensing
  • Support driver data, absence records, uniform coordination, and training logistics

Insurance & Incident Reporting:

  • Assist with incident and injury claim processes
  • Maintain related records and liaise with claims handlers

Training:

  • Collate and process candidates for driving assessments, interviews and other training activities that may be required.
  • Monitor and process wages, holiday, sickness and absence records of training staff.
  • Ensure that PCV Theory Tests are conducted to DSA standards using the appropriate Company and DSA procedures.

General Admin & Reporting:

  • Handle lost property, calls, and internal reporting
  • Produce reports on vehicle checks, mileage, staff movement, and more

Skills/Experience

  • Clear and confident verbal communication
  • Strong written communication with attention to detail
  • Efficient in processing information
  •  Experience in either a customer service/administration role would be advantageous
