🔧 What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our team, you'll:

• Supervise and support our workshop staff during your shift.
• Ensure all vehicles meet Company, TfL and VOSA standards.
• Make sure enough clean, reliable vehicles are ready for service.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, minimising lost mileage.
• Oversee repairs, inspections and documentation such as MOT and rota planners.
• Liaise with service controllers, stores and suppliers to keep everything running smoothly.
• Monitor quality, cost-effectiveness and timeliness of engineering work.
• Champion Health & Safety in the workplace.

🧰 What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Qualified Engineer (Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Proven supervisory experience – able to lead, motivate and coach.
• Previous bus industry experience.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Solid knowledge of health & safety standards.
• Organised, methodical and calm under pressure.
• Flexible, self-motivated and a strong team player.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• Agresso and Maximo experience.
• PCV licence.
