We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supplier Performance Analyst to join our Business Operations department team at First Travel Solutions. This is a full-time permanent position based in Accrington.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analysing the performance of FTS suppliers across a range of operational and compliance metrics. This includes (but is not limited to) vehicle tracking adherence, regulatory compliance, service delivery standards, and contractual obligations. The role plays a key part in driving supplier accountability, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring performance standards are met across the supply chain.

 Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor supplier performance across tracking compliance, legal adherence, and contractual KPIs.
• Analyse tracking data and wider supplier performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the ongoing development of the supplier performance framework, ensuring it remains aligned with business needs and industry requirements.
• Input into data visualisation and reporting using Power BI to support trend analysis and performance dashboards.
• Produce monthly and quarterly supplier performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Escalate non-compliance or poor performance through appropriate channels and recommend follow-up actions.
• Attend supplier review meetings and contribute to performance discussions.
• Support supplier audits and maintain relevant evidence and audit trails.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify supplier-related risks and recommend mitigations.
• Support the development and maintenance of tools to monitor supplier compliance, including tracking, licensing, vehicle quality, and safety.
• Assist the Supplier Performance Manager in developing supplier engagement strategies and performance improvement plans.

Skills/Experience

• Experience working in a performance, compliance or data-focused role (preferably within transport or logistics).
• Good project management and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office tools.
• High attention to detail and ability to interpret large data sets.
• Good presentation skills with the ability to engage suppliers and stakeholders confidently.
• Knowledge of vehicle tracking systems and/or transport compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of current traffic laws and vehicle operator obligations (desirable)
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
