We're looking for an organised Schedules Compiler to join our Schedules and Planning team. This position compiles efficient and effective time and duty schedules ensuring to consider reliability, acceptability and cost whilst working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

• Keep up to date with operating and scheduling agreements and the law relating to driver hours regulations
• Maintain good knowledge of the operating area, including garages and relief points
• Use and maintain expertise in HASTUS scheduling software
• Analyse data and produce accurate running times, schedules, duties and rotas
• Create schedule and rota cost scenarios for daily operations, emergency operations, short-term service changes, projects and future services
• Support data exports to internal and external systems to ensure smooth operations
• Manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
• Represent the scheduling team in meetings and provide specialist advice on timetabling, business rules and operations
• Make decisions on behalf of Schedules Managers when needed
• Use and develop internal documentation for service quality checks

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 2 year's experience working in a rail or bus scheduling with timetables or 5 year's experience within the bus industry
• Experience of HASTUS software (desirable)
• Good understanding of TFL tendering system as well as iBus and Hyperion IT packages (desirable)
• Confident in dealing with numerical data with the ability to produce accurate results
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisation skills to manage deadlines
• Proactive, dynamic and well-organised
• Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
