About the Role - Roadside Mechanic

The role of the Roadside Mechanic is to attend and repair vehicle breakdowns on the road and any other duties that are deemed suitable by the engineering manager.

Key Accountabilities

• Attend and repair breakdowns
• Booking out parts when required
• Deliver a high standard of repair/temp repair to get bus back to depot
• Complete accurate breakdown records, keeping paperwork up to date and filled in correctly
• Carry out any other duties that may be deemed suitable by the engineering manager

Location: Leeds Hunslet Park depot, LS10 1PL

Working hours: Rotating early and late shifts, 5 days over 7 including weekends

Pay: £14.94 p/h £28744.56 p/a

About you 

• Do you hold a valid UK driver's licence? This is a requirement of this role
• Are you a UK resident?
• You do not have to hold a PCV licence, but that would be advantageous; we will help you obtain it if not.
