About the role - Part-Time Engineer

Do you want to be part of our energetic team of  HGV/PSV/bus mechanical engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses? If yes, then this Part-Time Engineer position, working between our Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft depots, could be the job for you! It offers technical up-skilling and career progression and we'll provide your overalls and all the tools and equipment needed to be successful in your role. Your duties will include:

• Carrying out routine vehicle servicing in line with our standard operating procedures
• Attending on-road breakdowns and recoveries
• Performing minor vehicle repairs to keep our fleet moving
• Taking part in training and development to grow your skills

Location: Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft depots

Working Hours: 28 hours per week, 4 over 7 days, mix of early and late shifts on a rota

Hourly Rate: £19.73 per hour 

About you 

• Either a Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2) in relevant field 
• Must hold a UK driving license
• Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering Environment
• A flexible approach to working hours and able to work between two depots
• A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential
