Salary: £47556.45
Hours: Nightshift 4 on 4 off, 7pm-6am
Reports to: Workshop Manager

About the role
As an Engineering Supervisor, you'll lead our Nightshift workshop team to keep our fleet safe, reliable, and on the road. You'll manage daily operations, develop your team, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure inspections are planned within the required timescales
- Manage ongoing breakdowns and defects raised by drivers and task them to engineers
- Manage the workload for workshop staff
- Work within health and safety regulations and ensure all engineering personnel within the Workshop are working within H&S regulations
- Ensure an effective working relationship with staff and manage the workload for any third party labour
- Ensure Computerised maintenance management systems are up to date and correctly used
- Carry out any other duties that may be deemed suitable by the engineering manager
About you
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in engineering – desirable
- PCV licence desirable (training towards this available)
- Previous supervisory experience in an engineering/workshop environment
