The role
At First Bus, every journey starts with our people. Behind the scenes, our skilled engineering teams make sure our fleet is safe, reliable, and ready to keep communities moving. Now we're looking for a Skilled Vehicle Engineer to join our team based at our Great Yarmouth Depot.

What you'll be doing
•    Diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing, and completing repairs in line with engineering procedures
•    Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
•    Developing and maintaining your technical skills with ongoing training
•    Supporting colleagues and helping to share knowledge within the team
•    Working shifts on a 5 days over 7 rota (39 hours per week, including weekends)

What we're looking for
•    Minimum Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Engineering (City & Guilds 1&2 also considered)
•    Ability to multi-skill across engineering tasks
•    A flexible approach to working hours
•    Strong communication and teamwork skills
•    A full UK driving licence (PCV licence desirable, but not essential – we can help you gain it)
