About the Role - Auto Electrician

We are looking for an Auto Electrician to join our team in Bristol - Lawrence Hill. Do you want to be part of our energetic team of Engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of vehicles? If yes, then this Electrician position could just be the job for you! We'll provide your overalls and all the tools and equipment needed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations
• Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries and carry out vehicle road testing where necessary
• Be fully conversant with the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems including engine management, automatic/semi-automatic gearboxes, electronic braking, suspension, electronic destinations, multiplex wiring systems and E.C.U.
• Be fully familiar with all relevant diagnostic equipment including multi meters, temperature gauges, micrometres, vernier gauges and E.C.U. diagnostic computer equipment

Location: Bristol - Lawrence Hill

Working Hours: 38 per week Wednesday-Saturday 06:00-16:00

Pay: £19.70 p/h £38,927 p/a + Weekend Premium of up to £4000 per annum + £3,000 new recruit Joining Bonus!!!

About you 

• Do you possess a minimum level 3 NVQ standard or City & Guilds equivalent qualification?
• Are you fully conversant with the safe operation of workshop equipment and the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems?
• Do you have vehicle/auto electrical experience/knowledge?
• A valid UK driving license and the ability to attain a PCV license
• Do you have Right to Work in the UK?
