We are accepting applications to join our team in Truro.
As an Experienced Coach Driver, you will earn: £14.02 per hour.
These are permanent, part time positions, across a variety of shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, and weekends which can be discussed at interview.
As a Coach Driver, you'll play a key role in connecting people and communities, delivering safe, comfortable, and reliable transportation. Whether you're driving long-distance routes, providing shuttle services, or supporting private hires for corporate events, sports teams, or leisure groups, your professionalism will enhance every journey. You'll be responsible for ensuring passengers reach their destinations on time and in comfort, handling luggage as needed, and providing exceptional customer service.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid PCV license and up-to-date CPC certification.
- Experience as a Coach Driver, HGV Driver, or Bus Driver with a passion for customer service.
- A flexible, reliable attitude and the ability to adapt to changing schedules.
- A commitment to safety and a professional approach to driving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Operation: Drive coaches on scheduled routes, private hires, or tours, ensuring the safe transport of passengers while strictly adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Passenger Safety and Comfort: Ensure a secure and pleasant environment for all passengers by assisting with boarding, managing luggage, and addressing any concerns during the journey.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor, answering passenger inquiries, and addressing their needs throughout the journey.
- Communication: Keep the depot informed of any delays, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly.
