About the Role

As a Bus Driver, you will be an essential part of our community, providing reliable transportation services that our customers count on daily. Your responsibilities will include safely transporting passengers to work, school, and important appointments, as well as assisting those running errands or heading to special events. By ensuring a smooth and secure journey, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of local residents and helping them stay connected to their community.

This is a part time position which you be required to work either AM or PM shifts or a mixture of both over a 5-day period, Monday to Friday, during School or College term times only. Contracts range from 15 to 30 hours per week, which will be discussed at interview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation: Drive buses along designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Safety Monitoring: Maintain passenger safety and comfort throughout the journey.
• Communication: Provide timely updates about any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues, and document all relevant occurrences.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Experienced Drivers: A valid PCV license and up-to-date CPC certification.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with passengers and team members.
• Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to delivering high-quality service and fostering a welcoming environment.
• Safety-Conscious: A proactive approach to safety and a track record of responsible driving.
