About the Role

As a School Bus Driver, you'll be a vital part of our community, providing safe and reliable transportation that families count on every day. Whether you're driving students to school, bringing them home, or assisting with special events, your role will have a significant positive impact on the lives of local residents.

This is a part time position which you be required to work either AM or PM shifts or a mixture of both over a 5-day period, Monday to Friday, during School or College term times only. Contracts range from 15 to 30 hours per week, which will be discussed at interview.

Join us as a Trainee Driver and you will earn: £12.70 per hour.

Join us as an Experienced Driver, you will earn: £14.02 per hour.

Information for Trainees

To apply as a Trainee Bus Driver, you must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 6 months of driving experience. No prior experience driving larger vehicles is necessary, as we offer extensive training on our modern buses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation: Drive school buses along designated routes, ensuring the safe transport of students while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Safety Monitoring: Maintain the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the journey.
• Communication: Provide timely updates to dispatch regarding any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who:

• For Experienced Drivers: Hold a valid PCV license and possess up-to-date CPC certification.
• Strong Communication Skills: Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Customer Service Orientation: Are committed to delivering high-quality service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all passengers.
• Safety-Conscious: Demonstrate a proactive approach to safety and maintain a strong record of responsible driving.
