How do I become a driver with First bus without any previous experience in driving busses? I have a full clean UK driver's license.

I applied to be a trainee bus driver and failed to pass at the last step of the course twice. Now l have a bus driver license obtained from outside your company. What can l do to join your team as a bus driver?

Hi Alex, thanks for your question.

You don't need any previous Bus Driving experience to join our team. Most of our depots have Trainee/Apprentice Bus Driving roles available. As long as you have had your UK licence for over 6 months and have no more than 6 points on your licence we will provide all practical and theory training to you and put you through your Bus Driving test.

Please take a look at our open vacancies for the depot closest to you.

Thanks Lorraine

Hi Aptullah

Congratulations on passing your test!

Please take a look at our careers page for open vacancies close to your location just like you have done previously, but rather than look for the Trainee roles filter your search to Experienced Bus Driver roles.

Best of luck and we look forward to receiving your application.

Thanks Lorraine
