I was made redundant from a long career in fashion retail visual merchandising during the pandemic and I have never looked back!

I'm proud to be the Talent Acquisition Partner specialising in Engineering for First Bus. I help our depot engineering teams fill their vacancies with skilled mechanical engineers up and down the country.

I enjoy the challenge of this role, specifically in an industry with a national skills shortage it can be tough. The best part of my role is getting to know my candidates and hiring managers and how I can find the best fit for their particular missing jigsaw piece.

My absolute best advice is to set aside what you know you can do and think about what you want to do. Skills are hugely transferable and no one knows 100% what to do going into a new job, we are all learning all the time!
