Training query
Scott B. asked a question to Louise C.
Hi, I’m really keen to gain a PCV licence and was wondering if you could help me please? I’m currently working full-time but would love to gain my PCV partly as something to fall back on, partly as an achievement. I’d really struggle to afford a full course independently, and was wondering if there was any way I could engage with the training academy and offer ad hoc driving for, say, King Coaches on a weekend. Any support towards the cost would be greatly appreciated. I’m based in Aberdeen. Thanks so much in advance, Scott

Hi Scott,
Thank you for your enquiry. King Coaches only recruit PCV licence holders, so we would not be able to consider you for that role. Our roles in Aberdeen for trainee bus drivers are full time. When employees join the business as a trainee bus driver, we put them through their PCV training during the first year. Once they have been with the company for one year, they are then qualified PCV licence holders. If you decide to consider the role full time, below is a link to apply on our website.

Hello, what can i expect from the Ibus controller role at Fulwell garage? Is training provided or am i required to be an experienced Ibus controller in order to apply?
