I've been turned down for some roles at First Bus London which I've applied to in the past year. The roles I've applied for include Purchasing Assistant roles, Service Controller roles and roles in procurement. I previously worked in supply chain management, administration and wholesale, so I thought my experience would strengthen my application, but I was still turned down for these roles. I'd like to have an understanding of what more I'd need to do for higher chances in applications and for opportunities to learn the skills and knowledge needed for the jobs I apply for, as the London bus industry is the industry I'm most passionate about working in.
