We are looking for a Vehicle Trimmer to join our team in Hengrove!

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be carrying out repairs on damages.

Hourly Rate: £18.40 p/h

38 Hours Per Week

Mon - Fri 0700-1500

Main Responsibilities:

• Ability to retrim and repair damaged seats.
• Ability to strip off covers and send for patterns making
• To control stock levels of premade covers, padding and material for retrimming of seats.
• Ability to make seat covers from templates and sew together.
• Ability to organise, prioritise and schedule work.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, stores and other depot colleagues and superiors.
• Ability to be self-motivated, work efficiently and as part of team.
• To fully comply with all HS & E legislation along with Group policies.
• To fully comply with all relevant Engineering SOPs.
• Maintain and develop technical skills as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds level 1 & 2).
• Use of sewing machine and cutting equipment.
• To participate in relevant training updates.
