  • If your interviewing for one of our bus driver roles, when you arrive, our team will be there to greet you and guide you through the day. We’ll start with a quick overview of the role and the shifts at the depot you’ve applied for, so you know exactly what the job looks like.

    You’ll then:

    • Fill out a short form with your licence and National Insurance number so we can do a quick licence check.
    • Complete a few simple tests covering reading, writing, and road signs.
    • Do a straightforward drug and alcohol test — one is just like blowing into a whistle, and the other is a quick saliva swab that takes about 8 minutes.
    • Meet with our doctor, who’ll check your blood pressure, eyesight (don’t forget your glasses if you wear them), and ask a few job-related health questions.

Finally, you’ll have a relaxed, competency-based interview where we’ll ask about your experiences and how you’d approach different situations.

At the end of the day, we’ll let you know the outcome and explain the next steps, so you leave with a clear idea of what happens next.

We want the process to feel smooth, friendly, and supportive, giving you the best chance to show us your potential.
